Tusa Dive and Snorkel is often considered Cairns' premiere Great Barrier Reef day dive and snorkel operator, and we've worked with them for about 20 years. In that time we've seen numerous upgraded boats come on line, including their magnificent and extremely comfortable current boat, Tusa 5.

Experience our Great Barrier Reef in all its natural beauty on board the evolutionary T5. Super slick T5 is TUSA Dive’s latest custom built reef craft and is designed with ultimate comfort in mind for day cruising, diving, and snorkelling. Special features include hydraulically lowered water level platforms, huge dive deck, and internal and external lounge style seating throughout. Locally owned TUSA Dive have access to more than 15 outer reef sites, and are specialists in day tours to the reef with more than 20 years experience.

tusa snorkelingT5 departs daily from Cairns. A 90 minute journey to the outer reef will see you arriving at the first of the day’s two sites, selected from a range of 15. Sites are chosen as the optimum locations for the weather conditions, and change daily, so each day will bring you a whole new underwater adventure. Diving – Certified and Introductory – and snorkelling are all on offer at the reef, where 5 hours allows plenty of time to enjoy water and topside activities. The day will include Marine Interpretation talks, guided snorkel tours, and underwater photography briefs. Lunch is a divine buffet of fresh and healthy food.

Tusa Dive offers a 4 day Learn to Dive Course, which is comprised of two days pool and theory training at a modern, purpose built training facility, followed by 2 one day trips to the outer reef. This course provides you with a PADI International certification, professional training and personalised service.
