Our qualifications provide you with your best vacation Down Under

Australian Natural Adventures has been qualified by Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland, Tourism Tasmania and the Northern Territory Tourist Commission as a Specialist in each of their States. To achieve this we have undergone special training, including an examination on specific local knowledge, and must have visited each area to personally see and experience the tourism infrastructure, hotels, activities and just what each state and territory offers its visitors. This qualification must be maintained each year, with continued education and travel to Australia.

In addition to the standard Aussie Specialist qualification, Australian Natural Adventures is a Premier Aussie Specialist. Only 109 travel agents in the entire United States have been accorded this special designation, as the most experienced and best qualified agents for Australia in the country. In addition to a special review by Tourism Australia, Premier agents must visit Australia at least every year, show superior knowledge about and experience of Australia, and actively promote Australia to the US.

Andrew Haffenden, your personal Premier Aussie Specialist, has a further special qualification, even at this high level. Andrew's an Australian, and has not only visited but lived in Queensland, Victoria and the Northern Territory. He has been visiting the other states for some forty years, and owned his own tourism businesses in Queensland prior to coming to the US. So his knowledge is not just from brochures, marketing pieces and occasional visits, but comes from knowing his own country intimately, and wanting to share the best of it with you. Your personal itinerary will be one that was designed for you and your interests, from Andrew's detailed knowledge and considerable experience, not just chosen from a rack full of off-the-shelf brochures. However, we also know that sometimes some preset itineraries may be just right for you, and offer great value - and so we'll be happy to suggest the one that fits you best. After all, it's your vacation, and we're just here to help.

(we gave up putting the renewal certiicates up each year, it's too much work. But we qualify for and renew our Premier Aussie Specialist status each year.)
