Supporting those who support us

When you travel to a country most of what you see is made possible by the people who live there. It's they who have preserved the land, created the museums, look after the wildlife, curated their history, built the infrastructure, and welcome us to their home. In return, we like to give back. We do so firstly by buying locally as much as possible, from the flag airline to local guides. But we also do so by donating to worthy causes in the countries we visit. Each year about 5% of our net revenue, not just profit, goes in donations to efforts in our host countries. Due to our own inclination, and because it's what so many visitors want to see, this tends to be mostly for conservation efforts.

We are a member of, and an ongoing contributor to, Birds Australia, and a founding member of Newhaven Sanctuary.

We support and encourage our travelers to support the efforts to control and eradicate Tasmanian Devil Facial Tumour Disease.

The Nature Conservancy supports a range of projects in the South Pacific, and we support the Nature Conservancy.
